Bagel is easy to make, a tasty, and shorter time than other bread because of no need for secondary fermentation time. I tried to use ghee instead of butter for it. My friend gave me the ghee that grass-fed one. The fragrance was nice, better than butter. And it seems good for health because it’s “grass-fed” ghee!
My favorite bagel is that surface is crispy and the inside is chewy. I add a little bit of malt powder into boiling water when it boiled, it makes crispy on the surface. If you want to shine on the surface, use honey for boiling water.
